ADOPT
Do you know someone interested in adopting a cat or kitten? Please tell them about us, or direct them to this website.
PROVIDE A FOSTER HOME
We need people who are willing to hold and care for our cats while they are waiting for adoption into permanent homes. This could be for a period of weeks or months. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can take off the streets.
PROVIDE A HOLDING SPACE
We need places to care for our cats before and after their spay/neuter surgeries. If you have a garage, basement, porch (in good weather), or other suitable area we can use for this purpose, please let us know.
HELP US DO TNR
We'll train you to make a real difference in the lives of the cats in your community. You can do TNR on an occasional basis.
HELP WITH SPECIAL EVENTS
Adoption Events:
Several times each year we participate in major adoption events that take place in Manhattan and Queens. We could use help setting up for those events. We could also use help with transportation to and from those events.
Fundraising Events:
Last year SaveKitty had a wine-tasting benefit. We plan to do the same next year, as well as hold a fundraising dinner. If you'd like to participate in these events in any way, please let us know.
Other Events:
Perhaps you have ideas about how to help us fundraise. We'd be delighted to hear about it.
